Well, after a family vacation, and after going through a decent amount of paperwork in the past month or so, I finally get back to see that I've got through 20k.

Frankly I've been timid to post back here with something new, under the thought that if I didn't post something that was just uber-amazing to blow you all away with, then I shouldn't bother doing anything at all.

Which is a pretty crappy strategy for just about... anything, really.

Anyway, it appears that I'm destined to go back, once again, to college in order to actually gain SOME sort of ability to get a job.

Only this time, I have to move to Austin to do it.
It's definitely going to be... different for me, so I can't do much more than hope it works out for the best.

Website: Just to be clear, I would certainly LIKE to update my website again. Due to some ATROCIOUS service with my web host, I've been locked out of it. It's not even really all that clear who *IS* the web host thanks to all the different services it's been bounced around.

Really at this point, I just want to keep the website's name and just start totally from scratch on a host that is WordPress friendly.

Sadly, I'm pretty damn stupid when it comes to that sort of thing, so this whole ordeal has been a thorn at my side for like, 2 years.


Commissions: What with going to college again, some added income wouldn't hurt, but frankly I don't really expect to get asked for any paid commission stuff any time soon.

I suppose the best thing is to just ask if you guys out there want something purely for the hell of it. No money or anything involved, but just requests to keep me on my toes and give me something to do.

Though if you know anyone (a website, a convention, or whatever) that might be looking for some small payable commission type deal, then I'm listin'.

From the sound of things it seems I might be going back the grasp of the educational system.
Which will hopefully make it clear what to do about a job of some sort.

For roughly 5 years, I have been using the same version of Flash (Studio MX). My Photoshop is CS1 I think, which I don't think is quite as old, but is certainly not up to date. Since then, the Adobe company has gobbled up Macromedia Flash and are now all under the same banner. Unless it has switched on me since I last checked, there is an option to upgrade all of these programs, as well as getting Illustrator on top of that.

That upgrade costs $600.

I would like to raise the money for this via commissions on DA so I can have the side benefit of getting freelancing experience.

The Daily Deviant was a nice surprize, though it's given me quite a work out on checking all the new activity (400+ in a day?!?!)

It's funny, as I was really on the ropes of whether or not to even upload the Mega Man 9 Bunch up on here. Looks like it was a good thing I did eh?

Anyway, since it took... 2 days (?!) to get another new +1K, I'm just going to Copy/Paste what I had on the last post.

At this point, if there is anyone with any interest in a commission of sort, I want to hear from you, though I don't think I am "Officially in Commission mode" right now.
